MASH-UP SKETCHES
The pencil sketch was an idea I had for this marker to incorporate some form of artwork on the marker. these ideas ranged from aboriginal painting symbols (symbols that represented gathering/sitting around ) to make reference of Blacktown's deep Aboriginal roots, Aboriginal dot painting or to create my own abstract art that conveys the idea of many people gathering around the sportspark

The mix of rectangular representation of naturally shaped forms and the concept of temporary design is the basis of this marker design. the rectangular based is transformed into a curvilinear shape which contrast the piece above which remains rectilinear. the results reflects both of their original concept statements but also opposes the original statements once merged.
When concepts derived from Neri Oxman's and Cedric Price's work are combined, the results from these contrasting architectural styles have an interesting turnout. with this marker, it appears that the naturally shaped forms are able to support and provide further longevity to what appears to be a frail temporary design.
